BIOGRAPHY

Jimmy's musical path was pretty much ordinary and boring at the start. Piano lessons at the age of 8, that lasted about 3 lessons or so, until he realized (even at that tender age) he could learn so much more on his own than Granny was willing to teach. So much for the world of Beethoven and Mozart.

Anyway, around the same time he saw these four young lads from an obscure place called "Liverpool", somewhere in England, I believe. They were playing on a really big show named after a guy named "Ed". From that time on the die was cast.

Little Jimmy started combing his flat top down onto his brow, his 1 inch bangs covering just a fraction of his forehead. He knew what he wanted to do and do so he did. He took up the guitar at 10 and also went back to the piano (thanx Granny) at 12.He played his first professional job at 14 and has never looked back since.

Over the years he has played with "The Core" (his first real working band) then moved on to regional touring bands, such as "Mad Hatter", "The Blue Meanies", and "Model Citizen". Jimmy also had the opportunity to play with one of his childhood heroes, Peter Noone, Herman of the legendary "Hermans Hermits"

Jimmy is the director and lead singer, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist for  INVASION, a band that  starts by bringing you back to 1964 with the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Yardbirds: all the bands that made it on that special list... "The British Invasion!"  The band continues to take you on a journey through the mid 1970's playing all your favorite tunes from Led Zeppelin, The Cream, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Queen.

Jimmy is also the director and lead singer, keyboardist ad rhythm guitarist for the well - acclaimed FABTASTIC FOUR.  The Fabtastic4 offers a unique Beatles tribute. No wigs...just good music. Quality renditions of everything from Please Please Me to Abbey Road performed by experienced, skilled players with decades of experience. Jimmy is also available as a solo performer, and has performed in small groups with musicians Dennis Schocket, Buzzy London, and many, many others.
